What has always bothered me is that I sometimes forgot certain clicks during recording. This can’t happen to me with FlowShare anymore.
K104 Prozessoptimierung GmbH with its managing director Wolfram von Rotberg is one of our most reliable customers in terms of comprehensive testing and feedback – the consulting firm has probably already used every single function of FlowShare. K104 offers comprehensive trainings and workshops in the handling of IT systems: explaining them in a comprehensible and step-by-step manner in order to enable their customers to achieve better performance.
What exactly is your role at K104 and what activities does it involve?
I am a freelance consultant and trainer for MS ERP products. In addition, I carry out coaching for managers in the IT sector or IT-related areas.
What is FlowShare used for in your company?
In concrete terms, for step-by-step explanations of activities in ERP software such as Navision or Axapta.
What challenges did you have before using FlowShare?
How did you solve them back then?
I still enjoy working with Snagit from TechSmith. But what has always bothered me about it is that I sometimes forget certain clicks in between when I’m recording. That can’t happen to me anymore with FlowShare.
What was your biggest concern when buying FlowShare?
Please don’t take it disrespectfully, but of course I asked myself: is this just a startup of four students from Hamburg who have a good idea, or is it developing into a sustainable company?
(Note from miraminds: We conducted this interview in 2017. We are happy that we could eliminate Wolfram von Rotberg’s concerns.)
"Very good price/performance ratio!"
Was there a hurdle that almost prevented you from buying?
That there wasn’t enough time for testing.
What was the main reason to buy FlowShare?
What I did: an extended test phase. I ordered the monthly subscription for three months. So I was able to test FlowShare for myself during this period, try it out, then had the full functionality, and the whole thing could be cancelled monthly at any time. I really liked that.
How does FlowShare improve your daily work? Is there a measurable positive influence on your colleagues and customers?
What excites me is that I can provide a 5 to 10 minute demo run with a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes post-processing time as a finished PDF file to my customers.
I hope to use FlowShare to get to the point where I have an output in an online webinar or in a conversation at the customer’s site immediately afterwards.
If things go well and I generate 500 pages of documents per month for customers where I used to need 10 hours and now only 3, then you have saved me 7 hours of work and I have only paid 21 Euros for it.
"What excites me is that I can provide a 5 to 10 minute demo run with a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes post-processing time as a finished PDF file to my customers."
Which feature do you like most about FlowShare?
The multiple output, be it PDF, Word or HTML.
Would you recommend FlowShare? Why or why not?
Yes, because of the very good price/performance ratio!
If I work a lot with it and pay only 21 Euro per month for it, then it is almost a gift for me as a professional multiple output user. And the support I have received during this time is an absolute gift.
How would you describe FlowShare to someone in your industry?
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I don’t know if it applies just to me, but you’re a dedicated group that accomplishes a lot, and this is going to be a good thing!
